Privacy Policy
Effective October 13, 2026In short: there is no account. Your photos, your name, your sounds and your drives stay on your iPhone.
We only receive anonymous crash reports and anonymous app events, never linked to you, never used for tracking or ads.
Who we are
Voomi is made by Dopell. This policy covers the Voomi app for iPhone and its widgets.
What stays on your iPhone
- Photos you pick for widgets. You choose them with the system photo picker, so the app never gets access to your whole library. The cut-out of your car and your widget texts stay on the device too.
- Your name for greetings, your sounds, and your drive history (start and end times only; no location is recorded).
- Calendar events, if you turn on the Calendar widget: the next events are copied into the widget’s storage on your iPhone so the widget can show them. They never leave the device.
There is no server of ours that stores your data. It is included in your iPhone backup like any other app data.
What we receive
Anonymous, not linked to your identity, and never used for tracking:
- Crash reports (Sentry): technical details of a crash, such as device model, iOS version, app version and the error. No names, photos, texts or locations.
- App events (PostHog): anonymous events such as “onboarding step completed”, “theme applied”, “paywall shown” or “sound automation ran”, with a random identifier you can reset. No names, photos, texts or locations, and no IP address is stored.
- Purchases (Apple and RevenueCat): the status of your subscription or purchase, linked to an anonymous identifier, so Pro works and can be restored.
Weather
If you turn on weather, your approximate location (rounded to about 1 km) is sent to Apple WeatherKit to get the forecast. Weather data is provided by Apple Weather (data sources). Location access is “While Using” only and is never required.
Notifications
Reminders, such as the one before a free trial ends, are scheduled on your iPhone. No notification server is involved.
Your choices
- Every permission is optional; the app keeps working without it.
- Settings → Delete all data in the app erases everything it stored on your iPhone and resets the anonymous identifier.
- Subscriptions are managed and refunded by Apple: iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions, and reportaproblem.apple.com.
Children
Voomi is rated 4+ and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version is published at this address with a new effective date.
